KSEDC Develops Sharia Hospital Complex in Machang 0

KOTA BHARU Dec 19: Kelantan State Economic Development Corporation (KSEDCK) and Kumpulan SAKATA Sdn Bhd signed an agreement to jointly develop the Sungai Bagan Estate, Machang in a continuous effort to bring progress and renewal in the state.
The cooperation between the two parties involved cost of RM600 million built on 62 acres of land located in the Mukim of Labok in Machang District.
The agreement was signed by KSEDC Group Chief Executive Officer, Ab Aziz Yunus, KSEDC Group Deputy Chief Executive Officer (HEK), Nik Kamil Amirah Nik Ab Rahman and Chief Executive Officer of SAKATA Group Sdn Bhd, Dato ‘ Aminuddin Hassan and Deputy Chief Executive Officer of SAKATA Group Sdn Bhd, Nor Hasima Hassan and witnessed by Kelantan Menteri Besar Dato ‘ Ahmad Yakob at Dewan Teratai, Kota Darul Naim Complex here today.
KSEDC Group Chief Executive Officer, Ab Aziz Yunus said this development project will build a 100-bed hospital which is the second syariah-compliant hospital in the state after the women’s and children’s hospital, An-Nisa ‘(sharia-compliant) also owned by KSEDC Group.
According to him, this development project is a new concept brought into the state and could become a new landmark in the meantime to be an example to other development projects.
“This project will be developed in Machang because it is strategically located and able to benefit the people in the surrounding area.
“This will create conducive and comprehensive infrastructure and provide value added to the medical and public sectors as it is in line with the ability of all categories of people in the state,” he said.
Also present were Kelantan State Exco,, KSEDC Group Management and SAKATA Group Management Sdn Bhd.
Among the components of phase 1 project to be developed on the land are shariah-compliant hospitals, retirement homes, residential homes and commercial buildings.
In the related developments, Infra Quest Sdn Bhd (IQSB) and Ascii Line Sdn Bhd (ALSB) contributed RM2 million to the state government as the contribution of the KSEDC Group Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to the Kelantan state government.
